At SunTrust Park, the Atlanta fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Ben
Lively(7-16) finally bested his Atlanta opposite, Julio Teheran(6-6), by the
score of 3 to 1.
Atlanta lost it in the 4th inning when Philadelphia did all their damage
plating 3 runs on 3 base hits. Freddy Galvis got things going when he
doubled. Odubel Herrera was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim.
Maikel Franco then bombed a two-run dinger. Aaron Altherr followed next and
he ripped a solo home run. Atlanta tried unsuccessfully to come back in the
9th.
Lively was helped out by Hector Neris who recorded his 24th save. Teheran
absorbed the loss. He surrendered 3 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
