David Peralta had 2 base hits at Chase Field as the Arizona Diamondbacks won a
thriller over the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers in, 4 to 3.
The game was won by Arizona when they scored a run in the 9th inning. After
two were out Chris Iannetta slapped a single. Daniel Descalso followed next
and he drew a walk. A.J. Pollock then drew a walk to load the bases. Chris
Owings followed and he delivered a base-hit giving Arizona the win as 46,712
happy fans joyfully celebrated. Arizona had 10 hits for the night while Los
Angeles(NL) had 5.
Fernando Rodney(3-2) got the win allowing 2 runs in 1 inning. Brandon
Morrow(4-3) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 2 walks
in 1 and 2/3 innings.

In a game at Camden Yards the Baltimore Orioles finally stopped their 6 slide
with the victory and got by the Seattle Mariners by the score of 7 to
4.
Seattle was unable to recover after Baltimore went ahead in the bottom of the
4th inning when they scored 3 runs on 3 hits. The critical plate appearance
was by Trey Mancini who made the Baltimore fans a happy lot when he launched
a three-run homer. Seattle had 13 hits in the game while Baltimore had 9,
but Baltimore had the more timely hits.
Dylan Bundy(9-14) went 5 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Bundy got
help from Brad Brach who earned his 8th save. Mike Leake(11-7) was charged
with the loss.
