Keon Broxton cracked a homer at Dodger Stadium as the Milwaukee Brewers beat
the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers 7 to 6.
Brent Suter(9-7) was solid if not spectacular. He went 6 and 2/3 innings and
surrended up 9 hits and no walks and allowed 2 gopher balls. Suter got help
from Corey Knebel who pitched great and earned his 25th save.
Brandon McCarthy(6-7) was hit with the loss. Milwaukee knocked him around a
bit, as he gave up 6 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.

Third baseman Derek Dietrich launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Miami
Marlins bested the pathetic San Diego Padres 10 to 8 at Marlins
Park.
Dietrich enjoyed a big day at the plate. He cracked a two-run shot in the 6th
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 7th inning. Jarlin Garcia
pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 3rd save.
The win went to Brian Ellington(2-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Phil
Maton(3-7) was charged with the loss in relief. He allowed 3 hits and 1 walk
