Andrew McCutchen hit a homerun and had 4 RBI as the Pittsburgh Pirates
defeated the woeful Detroit Tigers by a score of 10 to 2 at Comerica
Park.
McCutchen led the offense for Pittsburgh. He doubled plating two runs in the
1st inning and clubbed a two-run home run in the 4th inning. Pittsburgh
out-hit Detroit for the game, 15 hits to 9.
The win was credited to Trevor Williams(8-9) who went 6 innings allowing 2

Zack Greinke racked up an impressive total of 12 strikeouts and David Peralta
connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI as the Arizona Diamondbacks staged a
dramatic comeback over the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers by a score of 5 to 4 at
Chase Field.
Arizona had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits. Jeremy Hazelbaker led off and he tripled. Peralta
followed next and he cracked a two-run shot making Arizona the victor and
beginning a joyous home town celebration. Arizona rapped out 7 hits for the
