score was 7 to 1.
Chicago (AL) set the tone of the game in the first inning plating an isolated
run on 2 hits. Juan Minaya was perfect in relief and gained credit for his
16th save.
The victory was credited to Carlos Rodon(5-12) who went 6 innings, allowing 1
run. J.A. Happ(13-7) absorbed the loss. He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 11 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.

At PETCO Park, the San Diego fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Clayton
Richard(5-13) finally bested his Minnesota opposite, Ervin Santana(11-7), by
the score of 2 to 0.
Richard was solid in the win. He allowed only 6 hits and no walks in 8 and
2/3 innings lowering his ERA from 4.62 to 4.33. Although they lost,
Minnesota did out-hit San Diego 6 to 3.
Brad Hand was credited with his 27th save. Santana was the losing pitcher.
He surrendered just 2 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.

40,200 fans watched an exciting game at SunTrust Park. The Atlanta Braves
topped the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.
The score was tied at 1 after nine. Atlanta came out on top in the 10th
inning. After two outs Johan Camargo doubled. Kurt Suzuki followed next and
he laced a base-knock resulting in an exciting win for Atlanta and a wild
post-game celebration by the home town fans. Los Angeles(NL) out-hit Atlanta
9 to 6, but Atlanta ended up with more runs.
Jose Ramirez(5-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
no runs. Tony Watson(2-3) was the loser in relief.

Jorge Bonifacio blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Neftali Feliz had an
impressive outing at Camden Yards where the Kansas City Royals beat the
Baltimore Orioles 9 to 4.
The Baltimore fans didn't appreciate the big day Bonifacio had. He blasted a
solo shot in the 4th inning, cracked a two-run shot in the 6th inning and
doubled in the 7th inning. For the game Kansas City out-hit Baltimore 16 to
9.
Jake Junis(7-10) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 5 innings. The losing
pitcher was Gabriel Ynoa(2-2) in relief. He was knocked around by Kansas
City, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks in 3 and 1/3 innings.
