Clayton Kershaw collected 3 extra-base hits and had 5 RBI as the Los
Angeles(NL) Dodgers outscored the San Francisco Giants 13 to 4.
It was a good day for Los Angeles(NL) thanks to Kershaw. He doubled plating
three runs in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 4th inning and tripled scoring
two baserunners in the 6th inning. Los Angeles(NL) had 16 hits for the

The Seattle Mariners were certainly pleased to stop the bleeding as their 8
game losing streak was finally halted and and the New York (NL) Mets locked
up in an exciting one-run game at SAFECO Field. The final score was the
Seattle Mariners 3, the New York (NL) Mets 2.
Seattle won the game with a run in the 8th inning. Nelson Cruz blasted a solo
shot. New York (NL) was out-hit by Seattle, 8 hits to 5.
The win was credited to James Paxton(14-5) who went 8 innings allowing 2 runs.
Paxton got help from Edwin Diaz who earned his 29th save. Jerry Blevins(3-6)
took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 run and 1 hit in 1 and 1/3 innings.
'Wow. That's about all I can think to say.' said Scott Servais following the

City Royals 6 to 0 at Fenway Park.

night.
