Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Atlanta Braves 7 to 3.

Sean Newcomb(6-8) was the loser. He pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits and 1

innings as the San Francisco Giants really laid it on the Pittsburgh Pirates

hitters. He didn't give up much, just 5 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. San
Francisco rapped out 16 hits for the afternoon.

First baseman Logan Morrison ripped 2 homeruns as the Tampa Bay Rays won at
Tropicana Field in dramatic fashion over the ice-cold Baltimore Orioles, the
final score, 4 to 3.
Tampa Bay won the game with a run in the 9th inning. Morrison blasted a solo
shot making Tampa Bay the winners and sending the 13,804 fans home happy.
Both teams totaled 7 hits on the afternoon.
Chase Whitley(7-4) got credit for the victory, pitching 2/3 of an inning and
allowing no runs. Brad Brach(2-2) was charged with the loss in relief. He
