37,653 fans were treated to a fine game at Miller Park as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end. The Baltimore Orioles won by the
slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
Wade Miley(2-12) pitched okay, well enough for the win. He went 6 innings
allowing 4 hits and 6 walks. Milwaukee threatened in the 9th but their rally
came up short.
Miley got relief help from Zach Britton who gained credit for his 11th save.
Jimmy Nelson(6-7) was charged with the loss. Despite taking the loss, he
whiffed 10 batters in 7 innings.
'You have to give Milwaukee credit, they fought us tough to the end' Buck
Showalter said. 'It could have gone either way, but I'm glad we pulled out
the victory.'

In a tight game it was the Cincinnati Reds 5, the Colorado Rockies 3 at Coors
Field.
Cincinnati came up with 3 runs in the top of the 7th inning. Although they
lost, Colorado did out-hit Cincinnati 13 to 7. The victory was credited to
Drew Storen(5-0) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing no runs. Storen got
help from Raisel Iglesias who was credited with his 22nd save. Jake
McGee(5-2) was given the loss in relief.

The Minnesota Twins and the Los Angeles(AL) Angels locked up in an exciting
one-run game at Target Field. The final score was the Minnesota Twins 3, the
Los Angeles(AL) Angels 2 in 10 innings.
The score was tied at 2 after nine. Finally, Minnesota pulled the game out in
the 10th inning. Byron Buxton lined a base-hit. Brian Dozier struck out,
unable to help the rally. Robbie Grossman was the next batter, but he struck
out. Miguel Sano stepped in and he laced a one-base hit. Cam Bedrosian then
threw a wild pitch making Minnesota the winners and sending the 38,537 fans
home happy. Minnesota finished with 7 hits in the victory.
The win was credited to Alan Busenitz(5-3) who went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Jose Alvarez(1-1) took the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 1/3
innings and surrendered 2 hits and no walks.
