Ryan Braun cracked a homer and had 3 RBI at SunTrust Park where the Milwaukee
Brewers beat the Atlanta Braves by the score of 13 to 5.
Braun had a big day with his bat. He slapped a base-hit in the 4th inning,
blasted a two-run home run in the 5th inning and tripled which plated a run
in the 8th inning. Milwaukee had 14 hits for the afternoon while Atlanta had
9.
Matt Garza(3-6) got the win allowing 4 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. R.A.
Dickey(4-5) was the loser. By giving up 8 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings his ERA
increased from 3.12 to 3.58.

Davidson had a great day at the plate. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in
the 4th inning, blasted a solo shot in the 6th inning and clubbed a two-run
home run in the 8th inning. Chicago (AL) had just 6 hits for the afternoon.
The win was credited to Gregory Infante(2-0) who went 1 inning allowing no
runs. Juan Minaya gained credit for his 11th save. Daniel Mengden(3-12) was
charged with the loss. He was touched for 4 homeruns in his 7 and 2/3

Mike Clevinger went the distance and center fielder Bradley Zimmer connected
with a 'big fly' and had 4 RBI as the Cleveland Indians bested the Minnesota
Twins 9 to 2 at Progressive Field.
Zimmer helped send the fans home happy. He popped a two-run clout over the
fence in the 2nd inning and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 8th
inning. Cleveland banged out 12 hits on the afternoon.
The win was credited to Clevinger(9-5) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Bartolo Colon(1-4) was tagged with the loss. He allowed 3 runs and 7 hits in
4 and 2/3 innings.
Cleveland, who had been struggling lately, moved their record to 41-34. They
are now 2-8 in their last ten games. With this loss, Minnesota has a 7-3
record of late, 42-32 overall.
