Left fielder Gerardo Parra hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the
Colorado Rockies defeated the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 5 to 4 at
Coors Field.
Antonio Senzatela(2-5) was solid if not spectacular. He allowed 8 hits and 7
walks in 6 and 1/3 innings lowering his ERA from 3.46 to 3.19. St. Louis
threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Lance Lynn(2-4) absorbed the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits and 4
walks in 5 innings. 'I struggled a bit out there tonight,' Senzatela said,
'but I toughed it out and we got the win.'

Robbie Ray mowed down 10 Milwaukee batters and right fielder J.D. Martinez
smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Miller Park as the Arizona Diamondbacks
beat the Milwaukee Brewers by the count of 7 to 4.
Martinez led the offense for Arizona. He laced a base-hit in the 6th inning,
clubbed a solo home run in the 8th inning and blasted a two-run home run in
the 9th inning. Arizona banged out 12 hits on the night.
The victory went to Ray(6-4) who went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs. Fernando
Rodney recorded the save, his 21st. Jared Hughes(1-1) was the loser in
relief.
'Everything felt great' Ray said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could throw
it by everybody tonight.'
