Baltimore Orioles by a score of 9 to 4.
Minnesota took the lead off Wade Miley in the first inning when they came up
with 2 runs on 3 hits. Baltimore was out-hit by Minnesota, 14 hits to 9.
Ervin Santana(6-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 and 2/3 innings and

The Milwaukee Brewers got by the Toronto Blue Jays in 11 innings at Miller
Park. The final score was 4 to 2.
The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings. Milwaukee ended up winning it
in the 11th inning. Eric Sogard opened up the inning nicely when he drew a
walk. Sogard got a great jump and stole second easily. After an out was
recorded, Ryan Braun then popped a two-run clout over the fence giving
Milwaukee the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Milwaukee
finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
Anthony Swarzak(2-3) went 2/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Ryan Tepera(2-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. He pitched 1 and 1/3
innings giving up 2 hits and 1 walk.

The Miami Marlins were certainly pleased to stop the bleeding as their 6 game
losing streak was finally halted and edged the Oakland Athletics at Oakland
Coliseum by the score of 5 to 4.
The deciding run was scored by Miami in the top of the 8th. After an out was
recorded, J.T. Riddle stroked a single. Miguel Rojas next to the plate and
he laced a one-base hit. Dee Gordon then lined a base-hit scoring the run.
Miami totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.
Nick Wittgren(2-0) got the win allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings. Wittgren
was helped out by Kyle Barraclough who recorded his 2nd save. Santiago
Casilla(1-3) absorbed the loss in relief.
'It felt really nice to get this win,' Wittgren said. 'I kind of dictated the
game. It's what I get paid to do. It worked out this time.'
