Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays by the count of 9 to 0.

no walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA from 1.44 to 1.06. Boston had only 6

Blake Snell(0-3) was the loser. When questioned about his counterpart after
the game, Snell was lavish in his praise, 'It was obvious very early on that
we were going to be in for a long night. Sale brought his 'A' game with him
- he had good stuff and was able to spot it perfectly. He probably only made
one or two bad pitches the entire game!
