After an out was recorded, Travis Shaw got things going when he was hit by a
pitch. Greg Holland then threw a wild pitch. Domingo Santana then blasted a
two-run home run. Milwaukee banged out 7 hits on the afternoon.
Josh Hader(2-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Hader was helped

Marcus Semien had 2 base hits as the Oakland Athletics defeated the Los
Angeles(AL) Angels 3 to 2 at Oakland Coliseum.
Oakland jumped out to the early lead in the first inning when they tallied 2
runs on 2 hits. Los Angeles(AL) had a chance in the 9th but they came up
short.
The win was credited to Andrew Triggs(1-0) who went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing
1 run. Triggs got help from Liam Hendriks who earned his 1st save. J.C.
Ramirez(0-1) was the loser.
'Just one or two mistakes were all it took to beat us today' Mike Scioscia
