At Busch Stadium the San Diego Padres outdistanced the St. Louis Cardinals by
a final score of 5 to 1.

of 5 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Orsulak who made the crowd
happy when he doubled clearing the bases. Overall Pittsburgh out-hit San
Francisco 15 to 7.
