The score was tied at 6 after nine. Boston ended up winning it in the 14th
inning. Rico Petrocelli singled. Tony Conigliaro came next and he grounded
into a double play. George Scott then was hit by a pitch. Dick Schofield
stepped in and he drew a walk. Jerry Moses came to the plate and doubled
giving Boston the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Boston
finished with 15 hits in the victory.
