Win:Hunter(19-13) Loss:Bunker(8-30)
Homeruns- R.Jackson(49th)

without help from the bullpen as the red-hot Oakland Athletics defeated the
Kansas City Royals 11 to 4 at Municipal Stadium.

much of the offense for the visitors. He smashed a two-run homer in the 2nd
inning and ripped a single knocking in a run in the 4th inning. Oakland
dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.
The victory went to Hunter(19-13) who went the distance allowing 4 runs. The
loss was charged to Wally Bunker(8-30). He was hit hard and gave up 14 hits
