Catcher Randy Hundley had 3 base hits and Dick Selma tossed a complete game as
the Chicago (NL) Cubs defeated the hapless Montreal Expos 3 to 1 at Jarry
Park.
Montreal was unable to climb back into it after Chicago (NL) went ahead for
good in the top of the 6th inning scoring one runner. Chicago (NL) had 8
hits for the afternoon.
Selma(13-12) finished the game allowing 1 run in the victory. The losing
pitcher was Gary Waslewski(8-15). He surrendered 3 runs and 6 hits in 6 and
1/3 innings.

base hits and 3 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Los Angeles Dodgers by a
score of 7 to 0.
Carroll(13-10) simply dominated Los Angeles. He didn't allow much, just 3
