Blair was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided much of the offense for the visitors. He banged out a single in the 3rd inning, doubled bringing home two baserunners in the 4th inning, doubled which was good for two runs in the 6th inning and ripped a one-base hit in the 9th inning. Baltimore totaled 13 hits on the night. Palmer(15-6) allowed 2 runs on the game. Mike Hedlund(8-6) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 13 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings.
