Stadium. Yastrzemski was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at their team's expense. He belted a three-run homer in the 3rd inning, lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 7th inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Boston had many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings. Siebert(9-5) was the winner allowing 2 runs for the game. Joe Coleman(6-8) ended up with the loss.
