McGlothlin(3-5) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the Cleveland batters. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits and no walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 3.66 to 3.39. McGlothlin was obviously very pleased with his performance in the aftermath of the game, 'It was just one of those games where everything worked.
