Stadium where the Baltimore Orioles beat the Washington Senators by the score of 9 to 5. Powell was a one-man wrecking crew. He blasted a two-run home run in the 1st inning, delivered a one-base hit which was good for two runs in the 4th inning, hit a bases-empty home run in the 8th inning and ripped a base-hit in the 9th inning. Baltimore rapped out 17 hits for the afternoon. The win went to Cuellar(3-1) who allowed 5 runs in the game. Joe Coleman(0-3) was given the loss. He allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings. 'Everything seemed to click today,' Powell said 'if it could only be this easy all the time!'
